Marietha van den Berg
Welcome. I am Marietha van den Berg, an Educational Psychologist with more than 10 years experience in working with children and adolescents.
I obtained my Masters degree at the University of Johannesburg and has since worked in various schools and educational institutions.
I have a passion for helping children and adolescents become the best version of themselves.
I am currently practicing in Pretoria and consultations can be conducted in English or Afrikaans.

To book an appointment
For children younger than 12 years, I see parents individually for a first session. Please book two appointments – one for the parent intake session and one for the client.
For children older than 12 years you can book a session for the client or choose to book a parent intake session first.
Please note that no child can book appointment, as the parents needs to complete the online consent forms to consent to psychotherapy or assessments.
Cancellations and re-scheduling can easily be managed via the online scheduler or the Acuity App.
Once you have scheduled your appointment, please register for an account. The intake forms will then automatically populate when you log in and schedule follow up appointments.
The fee for a 50 minute consultation, including psychotherapy consultations and parent consultations is R1100 cash rate or medical aid rates if claimed directly from your medical aid.
Session cancelled in under 24 hours (this includes a client not arriving for a sessions) are charged at the full fee.
